Jeffers: Referring to your letter of April 15th and previous correspondence concerning proposed form of agreement to cover sale of water by Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company for use in Industrial Districts, Las Vegas, Nevada: the agreement, in accordance with your suggestions, we made some further changes, which it is thought tend to improve the contract. Lessees to provide individual fire protection, it has been thought advisable to draft two forms of agreement} one form for exclusive domestic and business purpose and the other form to cover instances where fire protection also will be demanded. with the following comments: (a) Changes and additions suggested in Items 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of your letter have been approved by the Law Department and revisions made accordingly. (b) With respect to Item 3: we have provided that User shall pay an amount to be specified in each agreement. Such amount will be determined by Railroad as estimated cost plus ten per cent.
