I agree.June 25, 19**® W 2 > 2 Mr. Bay Thorne General Manager Sear* - Roebuck Company Lae Vegas, Nevada hear Bays Please note attached letter from Automatic Sprinkler Company regarding new connection to your building for operation of fire sprinkler system. Xou will recall in 19**2 the Bamber Company of Long Beach made two 2-| Inch connections from the 6-inch main In rear of building to the fire line, and X was under the impression that this was satisfactory to both the Fire Underwriters and yourself. Theca two special connections were in addition to the five one-inch connections for ordinary terries to the drinking fountains, toilets and wash basins. Ho change has been made in the else cf the water main, which is still a 6-inoh, and X was wondering if the request for a larger connection originated with your company, and if the addition of a third story has a bearing on this. We are of course vitally Interested in supplying adequate service and fire protection, but hesitate to take a six-inch connection off a six-inch main unless this is absolutely necessary. Will be glad to have your thoughts on it. Very truly yours, LAS VEGAS LAND * WATER CO. By, General’ Miima'ger
