All districts of any consequence around the San Francisco Bay area are served either by the San Francisco Water Department or the Eafet Bay Municipal Water District. The cities of Berkeley, Oakland and Alameda mentioned by you are served by the East Bay outfit, as is the balance of Alameda County. San Francisco serves a portion of San Mateo County and the two share Contra Costa County. I enclose herewith Rules and Regulations of the San Francisco Water Department. I have marked the portions in which I expect you will be interested. Tomorrow I will attempt to pbt^in and forward to you the rules of the East Bay Municipal Water District.
