Absent: Commissioner Bunker and Peccole LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved the application of C.F. Shaw and Beryl B. Hayes, New Yorker New Yorker Bar Bar, 115 South 1st for a Tavern Liquor License for the third quarter of 1951 he renewed in the name of C.F. Shaw and Mrs. Hayes name be added to the license when a favorable report has been received from the Police Station. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent Commissioner Bunker and Peccole. LIQUOR & GAMING Commissioner Jarrett moved the applications for gaming and liquor license at APPLICATION the Horseshoe Club, 128 Fremont Street be tabled and Mr. Bernstein and Mr, Binion be requested to appear at the next regular meeting of the Board on July 5, 1951 Horseshoe Club Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following: Com­missioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, None. Absent Commissioners Bunker and Peccole. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Joe Blumenthal and Al Abrams, Frontier Turf Club Frontier Turf Club, 117 Fremont for a Race Horse Book license for the third quarter of 1951 be granted subject to the favorable investigation by the Police Department Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent Commissioners Bunker and Peccole. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Charles W. Fay, Malt Shop, Change 132 South 5th Street for 1 slot machine for the third quarter of 1951 be approved. Additional Commissioner Whipple moved the application of the Hotel Cortez Co., El Cortez Hotel Casino, 612 Fremont for an additional two slot machines for the third quarter of 1951 be granted.
