92 CONDEMNATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the City Clerk to instructed not Matzdorf & Matteucci to issue licenses for the third quarter to Bessie Williams at buildings 217 North 1st Street or F. E. Searway at 215 North 1st Street as Licenses cancelled these buildings have been condemned. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. CLARK COUNTY HUMANE At this time a letter from the Clark County Humane Society was re- SOCIETY ceived and read, expressing the appreciation of the Society for the action of the Board taken in adopting Ordinance No. 331 relative to the Public Pound. The letter was ordered filed. ORDINANCE NO. 333 At this time an Ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE EMPOWERING, North Main Street AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EX-OFFICIO CITY ASSESSOR OF THE Assessment CITY OF LAS VEGAS, COUNTY OF CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA, TO LEVY A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT TO DEFRAY THE COST OF MAKING CERTAIN IM­PROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS BY INSTALLING COMPLETE STREET LIGHTING UNITS WITH PARKWAY CABLE AND STEEL STANDARDS ALONG CERTAIN STREETS AND PORTIONS OF STREETS IN SAID CITY, ACCORDING TO THE PLATS, DIAGRAMS AND ESTIMATES OF COST THEREOF ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, DESCRIBING DEFINITELY THE LOCATION OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS, STATING THE AMOUNT OF SAID ASSESSMENT AND DESCRIBING AND DESIGNATING THE LOCALITY CONSTITUTING THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED ACCORDING TO FRONTAGE, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO," was read to the Board for a second time. Thereafter, Commissioner Baskin moved that the foregoing Ordinance be approved and adopted. LAS VEGAS—CLARK COUNTY Commissioner Baskin moved that Commissioner Clark, Whipple and HEALTH DEPARTMENT His Honor Mayor Cragin be appointed to act as members of the Board of Health for the City of Las Vegas to meet with the Clark County Board of Health and the Doctor in charge of the local Health Department to make rules and regulations for administration of the Las Vegas-Clark County Board of Health. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Van Valkenburgh Office of Richard Stadelman, A.I.A 1014 Yucca Street Las Vegas, Nevada Las Vegas, Nevada Job: Las Vegas Bathhouse Date: June 19, 1947 Provide and install two 4" drains and traps over 4" waste line to exterior of building. One each in men's locker room and women's locker room. Drain shall be located midway between exterior wall and center wall. All to be completely installed. Requested by Director of Public Works.
