Dear sir:- Replying to you r note of the 2 0th inst., a n d returning herewith all papers relatir^ to the above claim, I note that it is stated that “these shipments were carefully weighed over warehouse scales at our Los Angeles station with the following results’* etc. Would it not be well to carefully scan the record of these weights taken at our scales for the purpose of determining f rom the record the exact facts?
