Mr* Cunningham: This refers to your letter of May 10th to Mr. Paulsen* X assume it would not be feasible for us to arrange to produce our own water at Pioche although X think that the rate of 50j£ per 1000 gallons is a pretty steep rate and it looks to me, from a consideration of the schedule of rateB, copy of whioh was furnished you, that the railroad is apparently the only one buying water on a meter basic. At this writing I see no reason for a contract with the Power District but thought X might write Mr. Martin and clarify some of the matters which are not dearly explained in his letter of April 6th to you before definitely advising with respect to the necessity of having such a contract.
