I agree.V > Mr. Robert A. Allen -2- October 24, 1951 were authorized by Work Order 1537, dated October 31, 1939* The photostatio copy of such Work Order Is attached. We were unable to secure the Gutting property but instead acquired the Doctson property, consisting of 120 acres, which was charged to Work Order 1537® Vie had difficulty in obtaining only 160 acres of the Pike property, consisting of 320 acres. Eventually Mr. Bracken was able to have Mr. Pike split his 320 acres and sell 160 acres to the Railroad. A copy of Mr. Bracken*s wire to Mr. Jeffers, President of the Railroad, dated October 21, 1941, dealing with the Pike property is enclosed.
