Las Vega® - April 23, 1953 W 2 3-1-112 Mr. C. M. Cory - Las Vega® oe: Mr. Vm. Belnhardt Mr. I. E. Bennett Will you please prepare usual form of refund agreement with Harrison S, Stooks, hereinafter called Sub&ivider, whose place of business is 750 Fremont Street, Las Veras, Nevada, covering construction of cast iron water mains and fire hydr&nt connection® to serve area lying adjacent to and north of Fremont Street between 19th Street and 21®t Street, Las Vegas, Nevada. The location of said water mains and fire hydrant connection® are as indicated on map which will be furnished to you by Mr. R. L. Adamson, Subdivider agrees: 1. At its own expense to furnish all necessary material® and labor to construct: (a) Approximately 790 LF of 6s oast iron water mains. (b) Approximately 20 LF of 6** Fire Hydrant connection. The cost of constructing said water main® is agreed to be the sum of #2200. 2. S&id water mains shall be constructed of 6* Class 150 B & S cast iron pipe and shall be in accordance with Federal specification® wwp k z i Type 1. All Joint® shall be cement. All fitting® shall be new, all bell cast iron, equal to ASA Standard Class 250. Allmlves shall be double disk, parallel seat bronze mountings conforming to AWWA standards, not less than 175 lbs., and all valve boxes shall be of oast iron of appropriate size for each valve. Unless otherwise approved by a duly authorised representative of the company, all pip© valves and fittings shall be manufactured by the Pacific State® Oast Iron Pipe Company of Mueller Company, All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with AWWA specifications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance oaf State and City Health Authorities, and shall 'm constructed at an elevation to be designated fey a duly authorized representative of the company, but in no event shall there fee less than 36* of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and installation of said water mains shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a duly authorized representative of the company.
