    PATRICE WYMORE page 2 was being sent overseas to entertain the troops, . She lost the part when the management discovered she was too young to travel abroad. However, the hazel-eyed redhead recovered from that setback quickly and signed as understudy to the feminine lead in the national company of Mike Todd's Broadway hit, "Up in Central Park." When the musical was staged at the Hollywood Bowl, the dream of all understudies came true for her when she stepped into the starts role on a few minutes' notice. Patrice returned to New York and headlined in the Broadway musicals, "Hold It," and "All for Love," which led to a Warner Bros, studio contract at Burbank, Calif, in 1950# She made her film debut with Doris Day, Gordon MacRae, Gene Nelson and Eve Arden in the musical, "Tea for Two," Then she appeared in "Rocky Mountain," as feminine lead opposite Errol Flynn. During the filming, Patrice and Errol became the principals in a whirlwind romance, culminating in their marriage, October 23, 1950, in Monte Carlo, Following a European honeymoon, the Flynns returned to Hollywood, The bride continued her film career, making several more pictures for Warners' before retiring in 1952 to devote full time to her domestic life.
