Miss Mary E. Syphus; Panaca Nev. Dear friend.
Saturday night finds me trying to write you hut it will be a poor out I am afraid. Yours dated May 11th, was kindly reed, some time ago, and its contents were read with great pleasure
You said you would wait two weeks and perhaps more. Well I guess by the time this reaches you it will be more, but I trust it will answer the purpose just the same.
There is something peculiar about most boys and especialy me In regards to having a kind of mean and stuborn will.
There is no need of me telling you this for I know you

I think perhaps I will if

it is a very disagreeable

place to work.

It will be much more loneso-

15
-me when Hary leaves, although
line
16
I do not get to see him much
line
17
now, but I know he is around.
line
13
I think perhaps he will stay
line
19
here all summer as there is
line
20
pretty plenty of work and his team
line
21
he has no one to drive
line
22
It would suit me all right
line

to have him stay here

but if I had my say so

I would send him home,

for I think his presence

It seems as though I have

filled up a little more space

credit mark?
line
10
If I could make my

letters look as nice as yours
line
12
I would never know when

to quit writing. You must
line
14
not think I am giving you tafy

than a plow boy. Well I must
