FEB 2 6 1951 Changes Offered In Vegas Valley Wafer District CARSON CITY, Feb. 24 (UP) Changes in the Vegas valley water district bond legislation were offered in the assembly Friday j afternoon by G. William Coul-thard, and the measure was re-1 ferred to the Clark county dele-' gation for recommendation. The changes In the act, which was passed by the last session of the legislature would: D — Provide that bonds could be paid off out of the revenue collected by the water district for service, 2)— Allows the board of trustees to fix rates, provide for a depreciation a n d replacement fund and to take care of general i expenses. ! 3)— Bonds of the district would be earmarked only for the purposes placed on the ballot in any bond election, 4)— Allow the district to issue; revenue bonds as well as general1 obligation bonds.
