S. n a v a l x x x x k x d c Receiving Station SAVINGS BONDS OF MIND BUY L O N G B E A C H 2 , C A L I F O R N I A 13 1949 Gentlemen: Reference is made to water service to the Naval Reserve Training Center, Washington Street, Biltmore Annex #1, Las Vegas, Nevada. This service is provided for under Contract #N123s-56977, effective 1 January 1949. To date invoices for this service have not been received. Although this service is unmetered, with a flat charge of $18.50 per month applying, it is necessary that the Disbursing Officer have a certified invoice before payment under the contract can be made# It is requested therefore, that invoices in triplicate be prepared and forwarded to this office. The invoices must bear a certification similar to the followings The certification should be by a person authorized to do so, with invoices mailed in accordance with instructions of Section 1-A of the contract* "I certify that the above bill is just and correct; that payment therefor has not been received; and that State or local sales taxes are not included in the amounts billed."
