I agree.Sbb. 23, 1904. Mr. J. Ross Clark, Los Angeles, Cal. Dear Mr. Clark:- '? - * £ * • * ;i I presume you will remember meeting me at 'Khutsford Hotel in company with Mr. Prank Knox of this City. I have been informed that your company will lay out a town at the Yegas Ranch, and I would very much like to take charge of that matter for you. I would suggest that it would be a good business proposition to have the town site and the lots ready for sale when the railroad reaches that point, then we could run the excursion from this City and the sale of lots would surprise you. I had a long talk with Hon. R. C. Kerens when he was in the city last week; he is a personal friend of mine and is ready and willin to help me in this or in any other matter, so he told me, as is also ing Senator Kearns. I followed the business for openA new towns for several years in Kansas and a company I was interested with laid out all the towns on the Misouri Pacific in Kansas and Colorado, and I think I understand the business pretty thoroughly. I will be glad to hear from you on this matter. Very respectfully
