EIGHT BALL BAR Commissioner Clark moved that pursuant to the favorable recommendation of the Police Liquor Department that the application of Harold E. Mathis, Eight Ball Bar, for a retail tavern liquor license, 2nd quarter of 1949 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin. LAS VEGAS LIQUOR STORE Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of C. H. Elstner, Las Vegas Liquor Store C. H. Elstner - Liquor for a sealed package liquor license for the second quarter of 1949 be referred to the Police Department for investigation and recommendation. Further that the City Clerk be authorized to issue said license if said recommendation is favorable. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin. WESTERN LIQUOR STORE Commissioner Clark moved that the application of R. J. Stephens, Western Liquor Store, R. J. Stephens pursuant to the favorable recommendation of the Police Department, for a sealed package miniature liquor license for the second quarter of 1949 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin. NEVADA BILTMORE Commissioner Clark moved that the gaming application and liquor application of S. D. Hunter, Liquor & Gaming Nevada Biltmore Hotel for 14 slots, 1 Crap, 1 "21", 1 Roulette, 1 Race Horse Keno and a retail tavern and cabaret liquor licenses be referred to the Police Department for investigation and recommendation. Further that the City Clerk be authorized to issue said license if the above mentioned recommendation is favorable.
