    Commissioner Whipple moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 696 be adopted: Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and parried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CITY OFFICERS, INSPECTORS AND EMPLOYEES CHARGED WITH THE ENFORCEMENT OF CITY ORDINANCES TO PREPARE AND SERVE SUMMONS ON PERSONS CHARGED WITH VIOLATION OF CITY ORDINANCES, SUMMONSING THEM TO APPEAR IN COURT AT A TIME SPECIFIED TO ANSWER THE CHARGE AGAINST THEM; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO APPEAR AS SUM MONSED; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Bunker and Sharp, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Sharp moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 695 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time Commissioners Fountain and Whipple reported unfavorably on the proposed ordinance on Assessment District No. 200-13. Commissioner Whipple moved this ordinance not be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honorvoting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp, member of the committee for recommendation on the pro­posed ordinance on Lawn Sprinkling Systems requested additional time before reporting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 675 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING SALES OF HYPODERMIC SYRINGES OR NEEDLES EXCEPT TO DULY AUTHORIZED PERSONS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION THEREOF, AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO", was reported on favorably by Commissioners Sharp and Whipple and read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 691 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 671 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 36, SECTION 58, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, BY ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION TO PREVENT VEHICLE PARKING ON SOUTH FIFTH STREET BETWEEN OAKEY BOULEVARD AND SAN FRANCISCO STREET; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATING; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PORTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON­FLICT THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO" having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Bunker and Whipple, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Bunker moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 694 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple introduced and moved the adoption of the following ordinance, which was thereupon read in full and at length, and is as fol­lows : EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 693 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF DESIGNATED STREETS AND PARTS OF STREETS IN STREET IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1OO-36 AS CREATED BY EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 665 BY PROVIDING FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN AMENDED ASSESSMENT ROLL AND THE REPORTING OF THE SAME TO TEH BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS; PROVIDING FOR FILING OF SAID AMENDED ROLL WITH THE CITY CLERK; PROVIDING A TIME AND PLACE TO REVIEW SAID ASSESSMENTS AND NOTIFICATION THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR THE CORRECTION AND/OR CONFIRMATION AND APPROVAL OF SAID AMENDED ROLL THEREAT OR THEREAFTER; PROVIDING FOR THE INDORSEMENT OF SAID AMENDED ROLL OF SAID CONFIRMATION AND APPROVAL; PROVIDING FOR THE DELIVERY OF SAID APPROVED ROLL TO THE EX OFFICIO CITY ASSESSOR; PROVIDING THAT SAID ASSESSMENTS SHALL CONSTITUTE A LIEN; PRESCRIBING THE METHOD OF PAYING SAID ASSESSMENTS AND THE INTEREST THEREON; PROVIDING FOR THE DISPO­SITION OF SAID ASSESSMENTS; DIRECTING THE NOTIFICATION BY MAIL WHEN AND WHERE SAID ASSESSMENT IS DUE AND PAYABLE; RATIFYING, APPROVING AND CONFIRM­ING ALL ACTION HERETOFORE TAKEN TOWARD IMPROVING SAID STREETS AND PARTS OF STREETS IN SAID DISTRICT, TOWARDS ITS CREATION AND TOWARD LEVYING AND EF­FECTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS; AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE IN SAID DISTRICT; ESTABLISHING THE COST OF SAID DISTRICT; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
