I went over this matter wfth the Special Committee this morning and they are agreeab±e~^r-a|>proving your suggestion to replace about ^000 feet of present pipe line with iron banded redwood stave pipe laid on top of the ground. Question was raised, however, as to whether the pipe was to be continuous bands or separate bands. I think Mr. Clark believes it important that the bands be separate.
