OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. Las Vegas, Nevada. December 2,1924. At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, held on the 2nd day of December, A.D. 1924, at the hour of seven thirty o'clock P.M. Present, His Honor the Mayor, W.C. German, with Commissioners F.E. Matzdorf, W.H. Elwell and A.R. Ander­son, together with the City Attorney, A.W. Ham and the City Clerk. Minutes of the previous regular and adjourned meetings were read, and approved as amended. Reports of officers were read and approved and ordered placed on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board. All bills allowed as per claim book on file in the office of the Clerk. It was order, upon motion of Commissioner Anderson, seconded by Commissioner Matzdorf, that the Clerk be and she is hereby instructed to draw a warrant in favor of E.W. Griffith and Son in the amount of $739.00 as payment on the concrete sidewalk recently completed on the west side of Second Street, said warrant to be drawn on Sidewalk Assessment Fund #9. At this time the clerk presented the application of Morgan, Stocker and Horden for a gaming license, (two games) at the Northern Hotel, the same having been heretofore approved by Police and Fire Commissioner Matzdorf, whereupon, it was ordered, upon motion duly made and carried that said license for two games at the Northern Hotel be granted to Morgan Stocker and Horden. Voting on said motion Commissioners Matzdorf, Anderson and Elwell, AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: it appearing to the best interests of the City of Las Vegas that the sale of said Four Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars of bonds shall be at private sale, as is provided in the above mentioned and entitled act, that the Clerk of this Board be and she is hereby directed to give notice of said pro­posed sale of Four Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars of bonds to the First State Bank of said City of Las Vegas and to the, State Board of Finance at, Carson City, Nevada, and ascertain what they will offer for said bonds. Thereupon, there being no further business to come before the Board at this time it was ordered, upon motion of Commissioner Anderson, seconded by Commissioner Matzdorf, that the Board adjourn until the next regular meeting to be held on the 2nd day of December, 1924. Voting on said motion Commissioners Anderson, Matzdorf, Shield and His Honor the Mayor, W.C. German, Aye. Noes, none. On the 1st day of July, (2nd day of January), 19_____the City of Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, will pay to bearer Thirty Dollars ,in Gold Coin of the United States of America at present standard of weight and fineness, at the office of the City Treasurer, in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, being the semiannual interest then due on its Highway Bond, dated_____________ ______________,19________.
