I agree.EVENTS A World Premiere For exactly 25 years now, the Tropicana's "Folies Bergere" French revue has been entertaining countless millions. Last September, the famed spectacular introduced another brand new edition, marking the 16th time that the show has received a completely new facelift Since the show has world-wide notoriety, the opening of the new 16th edition was not only a social event, it was a ^happening". The World Premiere of the new "Folies Bergere" became the talk of the entertainment circuit. Hollywood was buzzing, since Emmy-award winning set designer, Charles Lisanby had created the new set; and TV's "Dynasty" costume designer, Nolan Miller, was showcasing his famed "can-can" gowns in the" Folies" finale. Celebrities flew in from across Los Angeles, and press attended from New York, Paris and London. Even Madame Martini, who secures the world rights to the "Folies Bergere", attended from her country estate outside of Paris. Local dignitaries, VIP's and the social elite were entertained in grand style, marking the premiere as "the" social event of the season. Special guests included Nevada State Governor, Richard Bryan and Ramada Chairman of the Board, Richard Snell. En masse, the black-tie crowd gave three standing ovations to the" Folies" cast, and special kudos to producer Larry Lee and director/choreographer, Jerry Jackson.
