Bennett) Referring to Mr. lennett*s letter Marsh it file 8>4, regarding AB 211. regarding alalisait wages for womens At the present timet we operate under a 40-hour Federal Law, paying the Rooming House Maids a minimum of 65^ per hour for the first five days, time and one-half on the sixth day and off duty the seventh day. The proposed bill, if passed, would of course increase our expenses somewhat, but not unreasonably, As a matter of policy, I do not feel that we should oppose every bill that is introduced even though it may be involved with additional expenses , and suggest we sake m objection to the Mil.
