    B & C GARAGE Commissioner Moore moved Mr. Clemente, owner of the B & C Garage be notified to appear at the next regular meeting to show cause why his license to operate a garage should not be revoked. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. AUCTION PERMIT Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Phil Cummings to hold an auction on April 16, 17, and 18, 1951 at 722 North Main be approved providing Mr. Cummings secures an Auctioneers License. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PROPOSED ORDINANCES Commissioners Bunker and Peccole committee for report on the proposed Race Horse Book & ordinances on Race Horse Book and Race Horse Wire Service asked for Wire Service additional time before reporting. MISSION FOR HOMELESS Commissioner Peccole moved the recommendation of the Building Inspector MEN that the building located at 221 North 3rd Street be condemned and not used as a home for homeless men. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Bunker. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Moore moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. ATTEST: APPROVED: City Clerk Mayor ****** Las Vegas, Nevada March 28, 1951 A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held this 28th day of March, 1951 was called to order by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin at the hour of 4:00P.M. with the following members present: Commissioners Bunker, Moore and Whipple; City Manager C. W. Shelley, City Attorney Howard W. Cannon and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Bunker moved that Service and Material Warrants. Nos. 2074. to WARRANTS 2079 inclusive in the total amount of $20,894.20 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. BID NO. 51.3 - Tires This being the time heretofore set for the opening of Bid No. 51.3, Tires, Owning bids were opened from the following firms: Cramers general Tire Co. Clark County Wholesale U. S. Tire Supply Ted Werner Commissioner Moore moved the foregoing bids be referred to the City Manager and Comptroller for tabulation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. BID NO. 51.4 - This being the time heretofore set for the opening of Bid No. 51.4, Batteries, Batteries - Opening bids were opened from the following firms: Ted Werner Las Vegas Auto Parts Herb Hill U. S. Tire Supply Co. Cardinal Battery Co. Cramers General Tire Co. Don and Bob's Motor Service Commissioner Moore moved the foregoing bids be referred to the City Manager and Comptroller for tabulation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole.
