    483 CITY IRON WORKS Commissioner Moore moved that the offer of Fete Green to purchase a Key Seater at $125.00 EQUIPMENT and the offer of the Seaboard Machinery Co. for purchase of an 8 Ft. Roll for $375.00 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Moore moved that the bid of the Western Metal Baling Company in the amount of $8,000 for the total inventory of the City Iron Works Equipment and machinery be tabled for the time being. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATIONS The following applications for renewal of gaming licenses for the 4th quarter of 1949 were Renewals presented to the Board for their consideration: ACE HIGH GARAGE L.D. Renewals - Changes In The following applications for gaming licenses for the 4th quarter of 1949, changes in op- Operators erators, were presented to the Board for their consideration: ESQUIRE BAR DAN DEE BAR HOUSE OF STEAKS PHILLIPS TEXACO SERVICE SHELL TRIANGLE SERVICE SMITH'S DRIVE IN Thereafter Commissioner Moore moved that the foregoing applications for gaming licenses be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Additional - Santa Commissioner Moore moved that the application of Dave Stearns, Sam Steanrs and Edward Anita Turf Club Margolis, Santa Anita Turf Club, 113 Fremont for one "21" game for the 4th Quarter of 1949 be denied. This motion lost for lack of a second. Commissioner Peccole moved that the foregoing application of the Santa Anita Turf Club be tabled for further investigation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Moore.
