RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing and delivering letter-agreement, C. L. D. No. 2808, dated October 25, 1939, addressed to Mutual Roof & Specialty Co., 5609 Whittier Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, covering the furnishing of all necessary superintendence, labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation, and the re­conditioning of roof of this company's packinghouse, located at Truslow and Malden Streets, Fullerton, California, now under lease to Randolph Marketing Company; consideration $567.00; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. Following Authority for Expenditure Requests, approved by the President, were submitted for ratification; W. 0. #373, issued April 6, 1939; Las Vegas, Nevada; purchase one 3" Portable Gasoline driven Centrifugal Water Pump for draining excavations when performing repair work on water lines. Total estimated expenditure $265, chargeable to Invest­ment Account. W. 0. #374, issued April 11, 1939; Las Vegas, Nevada; retirement of Lots 27 and 28, Block 26, with four-room house, No. 524 South 4th Street, Clark's Las Vegas Townsite, Las Vegas, Nevada, sold to T. W. French under lease contract with privilege of purchase, Audit No. 9956, dated Jan. 1, 1939. Ledger value of property retired and not to be replaced, creditable to '’Investment in Road and Equipment", $2255.; less Accrued Depreciation, $1165. and Sale Price of Property, $2500.; Difference creditable to "Profit on Sale of Real Estate", $1410. W. 0. #375, Issued May 1, 1939; Las Vegas, Nevada; lay 756' of 8" cast iron pipe water main in alley between First and Main Sts. and 36’ of 6" laterals, replacing existing redwood stave water lines. Total estimated expenditure $2600, of which $2110 chargeable to Operating Expenses, |150 recollectible from City of Las Vegas, and $340 Investment.
