PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 362 Commissioner Whipple moved that proposed ordinance No. 362, amendment to Section 1 of Ordinance No. 349 be denied. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Moore, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE MARKING, No. 370 TEARING, INJURING, DEFACING, MUTILATING AND DESTROYING OF ANY READING MATERIAL AND PROPERTY Library Books OF THE FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY AND FOR THE FAILURE TO RETURN READING MATERIAL AND PROPERTY ISSUED OUT OF SUCH LIBRARY: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH: AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO, was reported on favorably by Commissioners Moore and Whipple and thereafter was read in full to the Board for a first time. Commissioner Whipple moved that Ordinance No. 370 be approved on its first reading. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Moore, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR USING, MANUFACTURING, SELLING, OR N0 371 GIVING AWAY TOKENS, SLUGS, OR SPURIOUS COINS, FOR THE FRAUDULENT OPERATION OF VENDING MACHINES, COIN-BOX TELEPHONES, OR OTHER RECEPTACLES, DESIGNED TO RECEIVE IAWFUL COINS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN THE SALE, USE OR ENJOYMENT OF PROPERTY OR SERVICE: AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO, was reported on favorably by Commissioners Baskin and Whipple and thereafter read in full to the Board for the first time. Conmissioner Baskin moved that Ordinance No. 371 be approved on its first reading.
