    210 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said Deed and the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and filed in the records of this Board. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of Patsy Malpede TROPICAL DRIVE INN for a gaming license at the Tropical Drive Inn, 1400 N. "E" Street to operate three slots be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of Carl F. Amanti, CARL F. AMANTI for a gaming license to operate 7 slots at the Nevada Biltmore Hotel be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of J. L. Young for MONTE CARLO CLUB, INC. a license to operate 1 Roto-lette slot machine at the Monte Carlo Club, 15 Fremont be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Moore, Clark, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. ADDITIONAL GAMING Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of Arthur Rozen at APPLICATIONS the Eldorado Club, 128 Fremont for two slots, and the application of G. C. Luzier, Cliff's Fifth Street Market, for 1 slot be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. ORDINANCE NO. 345 An ordinance entitled "An ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTION 25 and to AMEND SECTIONS 22, 26, 27 OF ORDINANCE NO. 331 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS ENTITLED: 'AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC POUND; PRE­SCRIBING THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE POUNDMASTER; FIXING THE FEES AND CHARGES TO BE COLLECTED BY HIM, AND DIRECTING THE DISPOSITION THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR THE REGISTRATION OF DOGS AND DOG KENNELS AND FIXING THE FEES THEREFOR; PROVIDING FOR THE VACCINATION OF DOGS AND CATS; PROVIDING FOR THE REDEMPTION, SALE OR OTHER DISPOSITION OF DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS IMPOUNDED; PROHIBITING CRUELTY TO ANIMALS; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS THERE­OF; REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 5, 12, 19, 51, 58, 63, and 101, AND ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.", was read to the Board in full for a second time, thereafter Com­missioner Baskin moved that the foregoing ordinance be adopted on its second reading. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. EMERGENCY ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION II OF ORDINANCE NO. 348 NO. 299 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS ENTITLED: 'AN ORDINANCE OF THE t CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA, REQUIRING PERSONS CON- VICTED OF CERTAIN CRIMES, WHO SHALL COME INTO OR BE WITHIN THE SAID CITY OF LAS VEGAS, TO REGISTER IN THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF SAID CITY, FIXING THE PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO." was read to the Board aloud, thereafter Commissioner Baskin moved the adoption of the foregoing ordinance. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. CLAIM: SERGEANT Commissioner Whipple moved that the claim of Sergeant B. J. Handlon B. J. HANDLON for expenses incurred on a trip to San Francisco, California to pick up Andrew McShay for the police department, amounting to $106.09 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. STREETS & HIGHWAYS Commissioner Whipple moved that the matter of the request of Mr. AERIAL USE OF ALLEY P. 0. Silvagni for permission to use the area over and above the alley at the easterly portion of Block 15, Clark's Las Vegas Town- site be referred back to the Planning Commission for recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. REV. CARPENTER Commissioner Clark moved that upon acceptance by the City of the BUILDING building located at 7th & Ogden Streets and owned by Rev. Carpenter 7th & Ogden that the City Attorney is hereby instructed to dismiss the suit pending in the District Court relative to said building, and at the same time the comptroller is hereby instructed to draw a warrant in the sum of $800 heretofore posted by Rev. Carpenter as a per­formance bond to be returned to him at that time. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. DISPOSAL PLANT - Commissioner Whipple moved that the matter of diverting the water WATER DIVERSION to the new disposal plant thereby cutting off the water to the Old Ranch, be referred to the legal department for handling. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none.
