    SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Peccole moved that Service & Material Warrants Nos. 2347 to 2350 inclusive WARRANTS in the total amount of $25,921.85 be approved and the Mayor add City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. FINAL MAP - Moss Tract Commissioner Bunker moved the final map of Moss Tract No. 2, Parcel No. 1 be approved #2 Parcel #1 subject to the filing of the required performance bond and the signing of the agreement by the subdivider. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. VACATION Fairfield Commissioner Peccole moved the public hearing on the vacation of a portion of Fairfield Public Hearing Set Avenue be set for January 7, 1952, at 800 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent Mayor Baker. BOY SCOUT- Park Plan No action was taken at this time on the plan of the Boy Scouts for the development of the City Park. The Director of Planning was requested to submit a map on the proposed plans to the Board for consideration. PROPOSED ORDINANCES Commissioner Jarrett and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance on Plumbing, Board of Appeals the Board of Appeals, Inspection Departments and the adoption of the new Plumbing Code, Inspection Depts. requested additional information before reporting. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Rezoning Commissioners Bunker and Peccole, Committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance on rezoning requested additional time before reporting. ORDINANCE NO. 513 An Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24, SECTION 16, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVa D A , Zoning Amendment 1949, BY PROVIDING THE REGULATIONS FOR AN R-l( SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) Use District; BY EXCLUDING SMALL LIVESTOCK FARMING FROM SUCH DISTRICT; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Bunker and Peccole, was read in full to the’Board at this time. Commissioner Peccole moved the above entitled ordinance no. 513 be adopted as read. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Building Code An Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE r e g u l a t i n g THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, CONVERSION, DEMOLITION, OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT, USE, HEIGHT, AREA AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF LAS Ve GAS, NEVADA; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES THEREFOR; DECLARING AND ESTABLISHING FIRE DISTRICTS; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NUMBERS 130, 166, 188, 284, 303, 421 AND ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Bunker and Peccole for recommendation. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 233, ALSO KNOWN AS CHAPTER 7, Signs CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, BY CHANGING THE PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES FOR BILLBOARD AND ELECTRICAL SIGNS; PROVIDING FOR DETAILED INFORMATION TO BE FURNISHED THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT UPON APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT; PROVIDING PROCEDURE FOR VIOLATIONS; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, WAS read by title and referred to Commissioners Whipple and Jarrett for recommendation. ?CIVIL SERVICE BOARD Commissioner Bunker moved that Dr. Richard Laub be appointed a member of the Civil Service appointment Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Ralph Mohr. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. CHILD WELFARE BOARD Appointments Commissioner Peccole moved that Mrs. Buck Blaine and Mrs. Ken Frogley be appointed as members of the Child Welfare Board to fill the vacancies created by the resignation of Mrs. V. Gray Gubler and Mrs. George Boman. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. PLUMBING BOARD The appointment of the member of the Plumbing Board to fill the vacancy created by the death Appointments of J.T. Humphrey's was held in abeyance until the Plumbing Code has been adopted. WESTERNER CLUB Commissioner Bunker moved the request of the Westerner Club to delete the name of Mr. Louis Liquor & Gaming Licenses Travistino from their Liquor and Gaming Licenses be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker ASSESSMENT DISTRICT No. 100-16 Partial Payment ASSESSMENT DISTRICT No. 100-17 Partial Payment Commissioner Bunker moved the request of Young and Smith for partial payment on Assessment District No. 100-16 in the total amount of $55,288.17 and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign the warrant when prepared. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none.
