LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved the application of W. Norman McConkey, 2121 South New 5th for a Restaurant Beverage license for the third quarter of 1951 be denied on the grounds that there is no restaurant there. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent Commissioners Bunker and Peccole. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Marino Brandolina, Monte Carlo New Motel Coffee Shop, 1600 South Main for 4 slot machines for the third quarter of 1951 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent Commissioners Bunker and Peccole. PURCHASE OF STATIC Commissioner Whipple moved that the City Manager be authorized to purchase WAGON a 1949 Chevrolet Station wagon for $1395.00 Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent Commissioners Bunker and Peccole. IMPROVEMENT OF CROSS Commissioner Whipple moved that the City Manager be authorized to negotiate STREETS- Fremont with J. M. Murphy Construction Co. and spend up to $2000 to reconstruct Street Paving. approach streets to Fremont along with the State Highway Department Project. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent Commissioners Bunker and Peccole. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Jarrett moved that Service and Material Warrant No. 2132 in the WARRANTS total amount of #1559.81 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent Commissioners Bunker and Peccole.
