August 3, 1953 Him* Hugh Shmmberger State Engineer Carson City, Nevada Re: Permit No* 7200, Certificate 1631 Dear Hugh: With further reference to my letter of June 15, and your reply of June 18, concerning the above entitled matter, I have today mailed to you under separate cover a supporting map and 1 transmit herewith the original of an amended Application, The Amended Application (Serial No* 15140} is neoessary to eorreot tho description contained in Item No* 7 of tho original application* The supporting map has been based upon the amended application* I I note your statement that you can publish the application and then delay Issuing the permit until after the bend election, or until notified by us* Please be sure that we greatly appreciate your cooperation in this regard* However, I did not clarify in ray letter to you of June 15 the exact time when we would wish to have the permit issued* Mr* Bennett informs me that the permit should not bo Issued until after new distribution facilities in the shop grounds have boon completed so that water can then be delivered from the new point of diversion to all of the railroad facilities* Therefore, I will greatly appreciate your processing the amended application to the point where a permit may be issued and then withholding further proceedings until such time as we reguest issuance of the permit* ‘Oils will enable us to continue to use water from the old point of diversion until such time as we are in a position to use water from the new point of diversion* Kind personal regards* Sincerely, Calvin H* Cory Y / c c i Mr* E.
