V Los Angeles - December 8, 195^* 733^ MEMORANDUM FOR FILE: Referring to the attached letter from Fisher Contracting Company, P. 0* Box 1069, Las Vegas, Nevada, dated November 30, 195^* relative to starting excavation and jacking pipe under our track at Las Vegas in connection with the installation of water main in the Las Vegas Valley Water District, This letter was addressed to Union Pacific at Las Vegas, attention to me, letter being dated November 30 and I received it this afternoon, I immediately contacted Joe Hamilton of Division Engineer’s office and he advised that Mr, Blair arranged with Mr, Schijpi^ who is our engineering inspector on the construction of the new Diesel facilities at Las Vegas. He has reviewed the plans and specifications and is inspecting this work done by the Fisher Contracting Company to see that all work is performed satisfactorily. R.
