Bracken Union Pacific Railroad Company- Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Brackens I have your notice that a conference will be held in Las Vegas sometime during November to discuss the broad features of the water situation there, and although my duties here occasionally tie me up for sin indefinite period which might make it impossible for me to come, I shall make every effort to lay out my program in order that I may attend the conference. Accordingly, if you are able to give me as much advance notice as possible, I shall very much appreciate it. I should arrive there a day or two previous to the conference in order that we might go over all your available information and bring it up to date, and as I have a well developed interest in conservation of water for the Las Vegas district, I believe my testimony will prove of interest to you. Fees for consulting work of this nature generally run $50 per day for the time spent, and I do not believe this to be out of line for this particular project.
