    97 Thereafter, Commissioner Baskin moved that the foregoing gaming applications be granted for the third quarter of 1947. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Commissioner Clark moved that the application of Harry Farnow for a "21" game at 121 Fremont Street be denied on the basis of the resolution now and hereto in effect governing the granting of new gaming licenses to new locations. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of Harry Farnow for a retail tavern liquor license at 121 Fremont Street and the application of Thomas A. Oakey for a retail liquor package license at Maryland Parkway and Charleston Boulevard be denied pursuant to the pro­visions of a resolution now and heretofore in effect. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. MARKET SPOT Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of Harry C. Levy for APPLICATION a sealed package miniature liquor license to replace a retail package liquor license at 117 Carson be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting a ye. Noes, none. CUTRIGHT CAFE Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of S. A. Cutright HOUSE OF NAPLES for a retail restaurant beverage license at Cutright's Cafe, 1509 Applications South Main Street and the application of Patsy Malpede for a retail restaurant beverage license at the House of Naples, 1409 South 5th Street be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. AMERICAN LEGION Commissioner Moore moved that the application of the American Legion POST No. 8. Post No. 8, for a Club liquor license on South 5th Street at the Application American Legion Post Headquarters be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before this meeting Commissioner Clark moved that this meeting adjourn until July 7, 1947 at the hour of 2:00 p.m. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye.
