JESSE H. JDNES PUBLISHER JOHN T. JDNES, JR. President THE HQU o FIRST CHRONICLE t?Θ╝iP< AS November 26, 195? Dear Al: Inclosed are clips from Sunday, Monday and today?╟≤ you have the others from last week. I believe Al, I want to thank you again for the fine time I had during my visit to the Sands and Las Vegas* I don't know how in the world you keep up with all the things you have to do, but you manage and manage to do them all well. I want to express my sincere thanks, too Al, for all you have done for the Texas girls, particularly those from Houston. They are tickled pink with the opportunity of appearing at the Sands - and rightfully so. When you get other pictures, please shoot fem along and we111 get in !em in the public print. By the way, Al, in the Sunday and Monday columns I mention Henee and Bob. Will you please show the clips to them so that will know that their tremendous efforts and excellent training of the girls dfcd not go unnoticed. Jane tells me that she and her mother will leave here Thursday by car, expect to get out there Saturday afternoon. Don't forget to plaster the AWOL sign on the wall, like you suggested you might do when she comes to your office. Lorene wants me to thank you all again for the invitation to come out last week and she surely wanted to go, but things at the office didn't permit this time. Al, I am sending five sets of the clips to the girls so that each can have one and I am also sending the earrings - one pair for each of the five - by Jane. They are from you and I. Again my thanks Al for a great time. You all are the best. P.S. If you get a chance, how about dropping Earl Wilson a note about the fine food at Lionel's Flame Room Restaurant in Houston. thanx again Charlie
