Las Vegas w 2 >* 1-12 5- July 2, 1953 cos E. E. Bennett Mr. Wm* Reinhardt - Los Angeles Mr. L. W. Cochran* Subdivider of Morning View Heights* Las Vegas, Nevada* has written a letter to the Water Company dated June 20, 1953 making application for extension of water mains to serve his subdivision. He has also requested the Water Company to furnish him with a letter which would state that the Water Company would extend its water mains and furnish water service to his subdivision as one of the prerequisites to the approval of his proposed subdivision by the Las Vegas City Board of Commissioners. Mr. Bennett has indicated to me that you wish to approve this project as well as any other project for which a letter has been requested by the subdivider as one of the requirements of the Board of City Commissioners, prior to the furnish!ng of such a letter to a subdivider and I am therefore submitting for your approval the following data* (1) One copy of Mr. Cochran's letter to the Water Company, dated June 20, 1953* {2) One copy of "Detail of Estimated Expenditures" dated June 26, 1953* showing the estimated cost and the conditions under which this project will be constructed, subject to executive approval. 13) One copy of Drawing B-623, da.ted June 23, 1953, showing location of proposed water mains to serve Morning View Heights. {k) Draft of a letter to Mr. L. ¥. Cochran which Mr. Bennett has indicated Is substantially satisfactory in his letter of June 3 0 , 1953* (5) Draft of letter to the Las Vegas Valley Water District requesting approval of letter to Mr. Cochran.
