On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing rider, dated June 12, 1940, terminating effective June 15, 1940, agreement Audit No. 9918, dated July 15, 1938, and expiring June 30, 1945, between Las Vegas Land and ’Water Company and Virginia Groves, Inc., covering lease of packing house at 4th and Olive Streets, Riverside, California; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was unanimously adopted; V/HEREAS, under lease Audit No. 9934, dated August 3, 1938, LVL&WCo. leased to Anaheim Community Growers, Inc. citrus fruit packing house, located at Cypress and Atchison Streets, Anaheim, California, for term January 1, 1938, to and including December 31, 1944; rental consideration $330 per month; and WHEREAS, on account of financial condition of said Anaheim Community Growers, Inc., LVL&WCo. agreed to amend Section 2 of said lease, providing, effective April 1, 1940, for reduction in monthly rental rate to $250, plus additional rental - (a) Accruing as result of additions, betterments, alterations or replacements made subsequent to April 1, 1940, pursuant to Section 3 of said lease; (b) At rate of $8.00 for each carload of citrus fruit in excess of 150 packed in and shipped from the leased premises during each 12-month rental period commencing April 1, 1940, and ending March 31, 1944; - 12-
