At Las Vegas, May 15, 1924. Mr. A. Maguire: Referring to our conversation at the new well near Las Vegas last evening, with particular reference to p o ssib ility of constructing a concrete wall to protect the springs from entrance of flood waters; Mr. Bracken called attention today to the fact that we have authority to\ e/rect an 8" tight board fence to protect the new well and springs. It might be a good idea to defer construction of this board fence and prepare an estimate of the cost of a suitable concrete w all about as was mentioned last night. I f this were done, we could inclose the balance of the property with regulation barbed wire fence.
