LAS VEGAS LAND AND WATER COMPANY. Lob Angeles, October 30, 1922. Mr. A. S, H alsted,- There w ill be a meeting of the stockholders of Las Vegas Land and Water Company on the 13th of November. The present by-laws provide no procedure under which capital expenditures on behalf of the Land and Water Company sh all be approved by the Board. Do you not think our by-laws should be amended to conform to the provisions of the by-laws of the Los Angeles & Salt Lake R. R. Co. in this particular? We are handling local authorizations in the same manner and using the same forms fo r the Land and Water Company as fo r the Railroad Company, and the silence of the Land and Water Company by-laws on the point creates an inconsistency.
