CANNON, City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Baker, a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada will be held in the Mayor's Office at the City Hall, 5th and Stewart, on the 22nd day of January, 1952, at the hour of 7:00 P. M. to consider the following matters: 1. Gaming Applications 2. Liquor Applications 3. Shelley City Clerk Shirley Ballinger Absent: Commissioner William Peccole City Attorney Howard W. Cannon GAMING & LIQUOR Commissioner Whipple moved the request of Dave Stearns of the Santa Anita Turf APPLICATIONS Club for the addition of Joseph Wolf on gaming and liquor licenses issued the Santa Anita Turf Club Santa Anita Turf Club and Bar, 113 E. Fremont be approved subject to investi- gation and recommendation from the Police Department on Mr. Wolf. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. Overland Arcade - Transfer Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Glaen Barrow dba Overland Arcade, 4 Fremont for license for four slot machines and a Retail Package (Mina) liquor license for the first quarter of 1952 be granted subject to investigation and recommendation by the Police Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved that Service and Material Warrant No. 2226 in the total WARRANT amount of $50.00 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole.
