Nutt, General Manager, Los Angeles* Dear Sir: Referring to your joint letter of June 14th, and returning herewith correspondence enclosed, relative to proposition involving construction of new pipe line at lias Vegas; am also in receipt this morning of copy of Mr .Clark’s reply thereto dated June 15th* It seems to me this proposition can well he deferred until condition of the present line reaches the point where we are justified in going to the expense of petting in new pipe line. There is no question in my mind hut what, when this old pipe is renewed, it should he with the concrete pip® mentioned by Mr.Tilton on which the manufacturers offer a five-year guarantee.
