Commissioner Bunker moved the foregoing petition and letter be ordered filed. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple At this time a Notice and Demand of Frank B. Henry in the amount of $50.00 for loss of his dog, and one from David Winston in the amount of $75.00 for loss of his dog were presented to the Board for their consideration Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the City Attorney be instructed to enter suit against the above mentioned persons for allowing their dogs to run loose without a license. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Mrs. Guy Murphy of the Clark County Humane Society was present at this time, and discussed this matter with the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved this matter be referred to the City Attorney for necessary action. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Commissioner Moore moved the following applications for taxicab licenses for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted: ONION CAB COMPANY 2 Additional Taxis TANNER MOTOR TOURS 6 Additional U-Drives 1 Replaced U-Drive LUCKY CAB COMPANY 2 Additional Taxis Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Commissioner Moore moved the following applications for license for the Retail Sale of Cigarettes and Tobacco Products for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted: ANCHOR CAFE 1202 South Main J.J. Coon CUT RATE LIQUOR STORE 132 South 5th H.Z. Clarke GEORGE'S CAFE 410 W. Bonanza Bessie Lancaster Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Andrew Bruner, 1320 D Street for a Retail Package Liquor license for the fourth quarter of 1950 be deferred until there is a full Board present. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Commissioner Moore moved the following applications for additional gaming license for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted: GOLDEN NUGGET, INC. 2nd & Fremont by: Nelson Conway 20 slots VERA'S CAFE 415 Jackson C.R. Millhizer 1 slot Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Commissioner Moore moved the application of Southern Nevada Vending Co., Westside Laundermat. 505½ Jackson Street for four slot machines for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye: noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. The following applications for gaming licenses for the fourth quarter of 1950, being changes of operator, names of business, etc., were presented to the Board for their consideration: BONANZA LIQUOR STORE 418 W.
