THE HOUSE: CURTAIN LIFTS, WE SEE A NIGHT OF STARS AND CLOUDS AND THE CITY LIGHTS OF RENO. IN THE DISTANCE, A MINIATURE SUPER JET FLIES THRU THE SKIES, UPSTAGE, TO THE STRAINS OF "FLYING DOWN TO RIO". (IN OUR CASE, RENO!) AS WE SEE ON THE STDESTAGES, THE GROUND CREW (THE SIX BLACK DANCERS) WITH FIELD LIGHTS AND LANDING SIGNAL FLAGS, WE HEAR THE PILOT ANNOUNCE, "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE ARE APPROACHING THE RENO AIRPORT, PLEASE FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS!" THE CONTROL TOWERS ARE REVEALED ON THE SIDE TURNTABLES. THE MUSIC AND ELECTRONICS GET LOUDER, THE RENO NIGHT SCRIM FLYS OUT, THE RUNWAY LIGHTS GO ON, THE JET NOISE INCREASES AND WE SEE THE HUGE MGM HOLIDAY SUPER JET WITH WINGTIP LIGHTS FLASHING ON, TOUCHES DOWN AND TAXIS TO THE FOOTLIGHTS. ON THE JETS WINGS ARE TWELVE GORGEOUS GIRLS AS STYLIZED STEWARDESSES', WIND MACHINES AND FOOT PEDAL LIGHTS DRAMATIZING THEIR APPEARANCE. THE NOSE CONE OF THE JET LIFTS, STAIRS COME FROM THE FUSELAGE, AM) FROM THIS ARRIVES THE HOLLYWOOD JUNKET OF THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE; (SIX GIRL SINGERS, 1 PRINCIPAL NUDE, SLX BOY SINGERS, 1 FRINCIPAL BOY SINGER AS' THE PILOT AND 1 PRINCIPAL GIRL SINGER AS A STEWARDESS. NOW THE GIRLS ON THE WINGS ARE ESCORTED DOWN BY THE TWELVE BOY DANCERS WHO HAVE ARRIVED ON STAGE AS DIFFERENTLY DRESSED TOURISTS.
