I agree.MEMO: For the Consumption of the People: An increase of approximately 10$ has been granted to the Water Company on the basis of the investment the Company has made in the water furnishing and distribution facilities* It appears to this Commission that the peak of available water supply in the Las Vegas artesian area has been reached. Any future drilling of wells will further diminish the available artesian supply. "A RESTRICTED WATER SUPPLY WILL INEVITABLY THROTTLE THE CIVIC GROWTH OF LAS VEGAS” is as true in 1951 as it was in 1922 when Commissioner Scrugham so remarked. If Las Vegas is to continue its growth, each and every citizen will have to start conserving the water supply furnished to him by the Water Company. Each individual should use only what is actually needed to satisfy his needs. The wastage must stop. Any future large scale use of water must be from a source other than the artesian basin and will, of course, cost each user a much larger fee than is now exacted from him. (Signed) ALLEN
