Those present, in addition to Mr, Laub and myself, were: Reid Gardner, President o f Southern Nevada Power Co.; Harry Manete, F irst National Rank o f Nevada; Dwight Gravett, F irst C a lif. Co.; Tom Campbell, Campbell Realty; Spence B u tterfield , T resident .Rank o f Nevada; Lorin Ronnow, Clark County Whole­sale Mercantile Co.; Robert Laub, Las Vegas Gas Co,; Joe Wells, Wells Cargo; Ray Thorn, Manager Sears Roebuck Co.; Fred Gibson, OK, //EC00; and Howard Cannon, President Las Vegas Chamber o f Commerce. indexed Mr. Laub stated that the rurpose o f the luncheon was to see what could be done to further indu strial develop­ment in th is area. He f e l t that a group o f business men could band together and form a board, who co ild gather the necessary s ta tis tic a l information, put i t together in a package, and launch a campaign to attract industries. A committee was formed, composed o f Mr, Laub, Fred Gibson, Reid Gardner, Tom Campbell and Spence B u tterfield , who w ill meet at 3:30 p.m. Monday, December 5th, in the Board o f Directors Room, Bank o f Nevada, to discuss pre­liminary plans.
