Absent: Mayor Cragin and Commissioner Moore. INDUSTRIAL HIGHWAY Commissioner Baskin moved that the letter of recommendation from the Planning Commission dated March 10, 1949 relative to the right of way for the proposed Industrial Highway be tabled until there is a full Board present. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin and Commissioner Moore. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved that Service & Material Warrant No. 1769 in the sum of $7,970.67WARRANT be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin and Commissioner Moore. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the gaming application of M. C. Kress, State Cafe, 20 Fremont for renewal of four slot machines for the first quarter of 1949 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin and Commissioner Moore. LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of Lee Spiers, Desert Distributing Co., 722 North Main for a Wholesale Beverage and Importers Beverage for the first quarter of 1949 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin and Commissioner Moore. RESUBDIVISION OF Commissioner Whipple moved that the final map on the resubdivision of Maryland Tract #1 be MARYLAND TRACT #1 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign the map. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin and Commissioner Moore. BID NO. 49.3 This being the time set for the opening of Bid No. 49.3 for one four door sedan, bids were opened from the following firms: Community Chevrolet A. C. Grant Thereafter Commissioner Baskin moved that the bid of the Community Chevrolet Co., in the amount of $1698.81 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Clark voting aye; noes, none.
