Bennett Pasadena, California Dear Mr. Montgomery: Please refer to my letter dated January 27, 1954, file W 23-1-144, submitting project covering construction of approximately 505 LF of 6 “ and 750 LF of 4" cast iron water mains and 10 LF of 6 M fire hydrant connections to serve a portion of Ellis Estates, Las Vegas, Nevada. This project waa approved by the Water District on February 3, 1954. The Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas, Inc., Subdivider, has now requested that the length of 4 “ cast iron pipe be changed from 750 LF to 562 LF. On the basis of change requested by the Subdivider, the agreed cost of water mains exclusive of fire hydrant connections, as indicated on Detail of Estimated Expenditures furnished you, will be changed from $3,255,00 to $2,842*00. If the above changes are satisfactory to you, I will change the agreement which I have prepared with the Subdivider to the basis of the revised figures, and if you approve, will you please approve one copy of this letter and return to Mr. Harry E. Miller for further handling and approval by Mr. Thomas A. Campbell, Chairman, Board of Directors, Las Vegas Valley Water District, as required under Section 13 of Agreement ,,C HL.D. 11342 dated June 1, 1953* In the space provided on the carbon copy of this letter, which is sent you in triplicate.
