Mr* L, V, Peart - Omaha With reference to my conversation with your Mr* Goodwin, relative to additional Information with respect to water service charges for refrigeration equipment* 1 am attaching a copy of the Opinion by the Public Service Commission of Nevada which covers case number 1221 along with letter from Mr, E. E, Bennett to Mr* Reinhardt dated June 25, 1953* relative to his interpretation of the Public Service Commission Opinion* With reference to the statement showing comparison of revenue derived from application of the refrigerating and air conditioning rates which was forwarded to you in my letter of November 9, 1953, 1$ which you requested the formula used to determine the estimated annual revenue on a percentage basis* As shown on page 3 of the above mentioned statement, these are estimated figures based upon the assumption that 80$ of refrigerating and air cooling equipment is provided with recirculating system, the balance being non-reolrcul&tlng in which case using column 7 and 8 as an example, the totals being 12,169*00, and |8,676*00, respectively, we determine the percentage by calculating 80$ of $2,169.00 and 20$ of $8,676.00, giving you the estimated annual revenue of 13,^70*00, or 31**$ of the amount of revenue which would be derived from sale of water under first revised sheet PSCM No. 3 proposed effective December 1, 1952* I believe the above information will be sufficient to clarify the question brought up In the third paragraph of Mr* Doty’s Las Vegas W 23-*f~3 - November 23* 1953
