General In answer to your letter of March 10 requesting information on the priorities required for a 500* extension to provide service to a consumer, this can be done by filing applica­tion on Form WPB-2774. This is covered under Part IV (i) which states in part that minor plant additions whose net material cost does not exceed $1500.00 may be made without special permission. However, under (i) (4) it states that no extension coming in this catagory of a line to a consumer premises may be made or connected by a producer unless it is authorized by a Supplementary U-l order or by the approval of an application filed on Form WPB-2774. We are enclosing a copy of this order and have blocked out the applicable sections. We have had aonsiderable contact with Major G. E. Arnold, Head W.P.B.
