Mr. Wn. Reinhardt #2 city &nd the total tonnage in operation determined. Domestic 3 - No Domestic accounts are included in Statement and none have ever been billed by the Water Company. Field survey would be required to determine the number and capacity of Domestic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning machines now being used in the City, City Plumbing Inspector estimates there are a substantial number, lea Making k - With exception of a few tons capacity of Ice Making Machines, no billings for this type of equipment have ever been made by the Water Company. After talking to the City Plumbing Inspector, it is estimated that there are several hundred of the smaller type ioe machines in operation as he advises that practically every bar, restaurant, motel, hotel and similar establishment has an ice making machine and there may be others of fairly large capacity. It would require a field survey to determine the amount of revenue which could be obtained from this source. Evaporative Coolers 5 - Mr. Bennett advises that it is not the intention of the Water Company to set up a tariff for evaporative coolers in private homes. The Commission's present order in this case does not cover a tariff for this type of equipment but I have nevertheless set up one for commercial evaporative coolers under my interpretation that this type of equipment would come under the heading of '‘Commercial Air Conditioning” for which a rate was ordered by the Commission.
