You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Cragin, a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 5th and Stewart, on the 28th day of July 1949 at the hour of 3:00 P.M. to con­sider the following matters: 1. W. Cragin__________________ S/Wendell Bunker_________________ S/William Peccole S/J. M. Murphy S/Robert T. Moore S/Howard W. Cannon Las Vegas, Nevada July 28, 1949 A Special Meeting held this 28th day of July, 1949 was called to order by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin at the hour of 3:25 P.M. with the following members present: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole; City Manager J. M. Murphy, City Attorney Howard W. Cannon and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. VACATION -R/W This being the time set for the public hearing on the vacation of certain portions of Church & Noblitt Church and Noblitt Additions, His Honor read the notice of this proposed vacation. Additions His Honor then asked if there was anyone present who wished to protest the vacation of these streets and alleys. There being no one present who wished to protest, Commissioner Moore moved that the following order be adopted: 0 R D E R A Petition, signed by four (4) freeholders residing in the area affected, having been filed with the Clerk of this Board, petitioning for the vacation of those portions of Church and Noblitt Additions to the City of Las Vegas, hereinafter described, and said Petition having been by Order of this Board referred to the Planning Commission of the City of Las Vegas for its recommendation in the premises, and said Planning Com­mission having filed its report dated June 22, 1949, with the Board approving and re­commending said vacation; And this Board, by an Order made at its regular meeting on the 22nd day of June, 1949, set the 28th day of July, 1949, at the hour of 3:00 P.M., at the Commiss­ioners' Room of the Board of Commissioners, in the City Hall located at the Northwest comer of Fifth Street and Stewart Street, in the City of las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, as the time and place for a public hearing on said Petition and recommendation, and Ordered the City Clerk to cause the aforesaid street proposed to be vacated to be posted with a Notice setting forth the time and place of the public hearing and the
