M e . e . m APR 5 1954 RESOLUTION OP THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OP LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT APPROVING PROPOSED OFFICIAL STATEMENT, DIRECTING THE SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS FOR $8,700,000 BONDS OF SAID DISTRICT. WHEREAS, this Board of Directors heretofore on January 8, 195^> duly adopted a resolution providing for the issuance of bonds of the Las Vegas Valley Water District in the amount of $8,700,000, to be designated WATERWORKS B O N D S , 195^; and WHEREAS, this Board of Directors deems it expedient and in the public interest that said bonds be sold, and that the date for receiving bids for said bonds be fixed and that notice inviting bids be given; and WHEREAS, a proposed Official Statement entitled: "PROPOSED OFFICIAL STATEMENT respecting $ 8 , 700,000 Waterworks Bonds, 195^ of the LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT Clark County, Nevada and the properties and operations of said district" has been presented to this Board and is satisfactory;
