SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES AND SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY OFFICE OF FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT W. H. BANCROFT, First Vice-President Salt Lake City, July 7th, 1909. Proposed company cottages at Las Vegas: Mr. J. Ross Clark, Second Vice-President. Los Angeles, California. Dear Sir:- Referring to Mr.Tilton's joint letter July first, and your Ho.1199 to me of July third, transmitting Porm 30, Mr.Tilton's Ho. 9, covering construction of forty company cottages at Las Vegas at total estimated cost of $60,606.00. I have approved this form and return it herewith for further action. I should say that these cottages ought to he shingled rather than covered with the "ready-rock roofing". While the cedar shingles may cost a trifle more it will he economy in the long run to use them to say nothing of the improved appearance they should give to the houses. Enel
